SATS

KS2 SATs, or Key Stage 2 Standard Assessment Tests, are national exams taken by students in England at the end of Year 6, when they are typically 11 years old. These tests are designed to measure pupils' academic progress and ability in core subjects such as English (which includes reading, grammar, punctuation, and spelling) and mathematics. The results of the SATs provide valuable information for both parents and teachers about a child's academic levels, strengths, and areas that may need improvement. They also help schools to track the performance and progress of their pupils against national averages. While the SATs are a significant element of the primary school experience in England, they are part of a broader assessment system aimed at ensuring children are receiving a solid foundation in their education before transitioning to secondary school.

We provide classes for both Mathematics and English to prepare your Child for their SATs.

11+

The 11+ is a selective entrance examination used by grammar schools and some private schools in the United Kingdom to identify academically able students for admission into Year 7, typically at the age of 11. The exam assesses a child's proficiency in various areas such as verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics, and English. The format and subjects tested can vary depending on the school or region, but the core aim is to gauge the potential of students to succeed in a challenging academic environment. The 11+ is highly competitive, and preparation for it often involves significant study and practice. Success in the 11+ can open doors to prestigious secondary education opportunities, setting students on a path to further academic achievement and career prospects.

We provide classes for our 11+ students, which cover all sections being Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

GCSE’S

GCSEs, or General Certificates of Secondary Education, are a set of exams taken in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and other British territories, typically by students aged 14 to 16. They mark the completion of compulsory education in the UK and serve as a qualification for further education, training, or employment. GCSEs cover a wide range of subjects, from the core ones like English, Mathematics, and Science, to others such as History, Geography, and Modern Foreign Languages. Students usually take these exams at the end of Year 11 (the fifth year of secondary education). The grading system for GCSEs has evolved, now using a numerical format (9 to 1, with 9 being the highest) in England, while retaining the A* to G system in other jurisdictions. GCSEs are a crucial step for young people in the UK, determining their future academic and career paths.

We offer classes for Mathematics, Science (combined and triple) and English to ensure your Child with the highest grades.
